Hope's Wedding

June 25th 2017- Philadelphia, PA

I had an awesome consultation with Hope about two months prior to her wedding in April. Hope found our website through a Facebook ad and was very impressed with our professional presentation and natural aesthetic. Hope's wedding theme was coral so she wanted a makeup that focused on the eyes that incorporated that coral element. Shortly after the consultation she booked Wairglam for herself, her mother, the grooms mother and her 5 bridesmaids!

On the day of her wedding, Nitocris' and I were greeted by Paige, Hope's maid of honor and sister. Paige created a relaxed and organized atmosphere that set the tone for the rest on the day.

Hope has combination skin were she tended to get oily on forehead. So after I moisturized her skin. I prepped her face with NYX Pore Filler and Becca Ever-Matte Poreless Primer. I applied a liquid foundation by Black Opal in the shade Heavenly Honey. For the concealer I used MAC's Pro Longwear Concealer in the shade NC35. After, I applied her contour with one of my favorite products , Black Opal True Color Foundation Stick in the shade Nutmeg. Lastly, I set the highlighted areas with Ben Nye Translucent Banana Powde r.

For her finishing touches I buffed in MAC Skinfinish in Medium Tan and MAKE UP FOR EVER Pro Finish in the color 174 for the contour. To compliment her coral theme and her eye shadow I used MAC Powder Blush in the shade Modern Mandarin on the apples of her cheeks. Right above the blush I added one of my favorite highlighting powders, MAC Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle. To ensure long wear and to re-hydrate the skin I used Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water. Hope select a lipstick that she purchased at MAC Cosmetics however I do not remember the shade.
